MRWA's Emergency Response Trailer

Maine Rural Water Association (MRWA) undertook an initiative in 2023 to develop and build an emergency response and training trailer. The goal of this endeavor was to fill urgent emergency response and training gaps by providing Maine’s water and wastewater utilities with equipment and personnel during emergencies, and resources to provide hands-on training opportunities to Maine’s utilities. 

DEP has recently contributed funding to purchase a second trailer, which has now been completed. The goal of the current proposal to DWP is to customize and stock this new trailer to ready it for emergency response and training operations.
