Maine Rural Water Association invites professionals, experts, and innovators to submit presentation proposals for the 46th Annual Conference & Tradeshow. This annual event brings together utility operators from across Maine, as well as engineers, regulators, manufacturers, consultants, and service providers to explore critical issues, technological advances, and sustainable solutions in the water and wastewater sectors.
Submit all abstracts via email by June 12th to kate.warner@mainerwa.org (more information below).
Topics of Interest
We welcome presentations that offer insights, case studies, research, or best practices in areas such as:
- Water and Wastewater Treatment Innovations
- Utility Management, Operations, & Communication
- Regulatory Compliance & Policy Updates
- Water Quality Monitoring & Testing
- Infrastructure Resilience & Asset Management
- Workforce Development & Safety Training
- Climate Adaptation & Sustainability
- Smart Water Technologies & Data Analytics
- Source Water Protection
- Water Quality
- Emerging Contaminants (PFAS, microplastics, etc.)
Session Information Submission Requirements
Session Format: Sessions at this year’s conference will be 60 minutes!
Please include the following with your proposal:
- Presentation Title
- Speaker Name(s) & and Organization(s) or Company – please include the best contact information
- Abstract – A brief description of the session, class learning objectives, and relevance to water and wastewater operators
- Session Type – Please let us know what track your presentation would apply to: Water, Wastewater, Very Small Water Systems, Admin/Management (Note: it can apply to multiple tracks!)
- Brief Speaker Bio(s) – 100–150 words
