Pay Range: $28–$32 per hour (based on experience)
The Gardiner Water District is seeking a motivated and skilled Equipment Operator / Distribution Technician to join our team. This position offers competitive pay, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to work in a supportive environment with room for growth and advancement.
Position Requirements:
- Licensing: Class II Distribution and Class III Treatment license (or ability to obtain).
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL): Class B (or ability to obtain).
- Experience operating construction and maintenance equipment, with a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to ensure safe, reliable water service for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Operate equipment for water system construction, repair, and maintenance projects.
- Assist with the installation, inspection, and repair of distribution mains, services, hydrants, and valves.
- Perform routine system maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting pay: $29–$34 per hour (depending on experience).
- Includes overtime when needed and a weekly on-call stipend.
