99012 Ethics, Fraud & Embezzlement - TRAINING ON DEMAND

Every water utility is vulnerable to employees and fiduciaries engaging in unethical conduct that jeopardizes the reputation and financial health of the organization. This conduct includes allowing conflicts of interest, falsifying records, and embezzlement. This session will discuss the best practices for preventing unethical conduct, including establishing internal controls and creating codes of conduct. The session will also cover techniques for spotting and investigating unethical conduct.

This training was presented by Rob Brooks of Verrill, and recorded on 12/10/20 during the Maine Rural Water Association's 40th Annual Technical Training Conference & Tradeshow.
