Class Description:

A training to discuss the many practical applications of vacuum excavation as compared to excavation with heavy machinery. Applications such as exposing gate boxes, service lines, lead service line inventory, dewatering, sump and pit cleaning, trenching, grease trap cleaning, and many other uses in the water and wastewater industry.


Class Fee: $90 Members | $120 Non-Members

Speaker:

Chris Cossette – Superintendent, Wiscasset Water District

A well-recognized water industry leader with over eighteen years’ experience directing a mid-sized water utility, leading a team of professionals and a Board of Trustees to increase operational, managerial and financial capacity while ensuring regulatory compliance.  Skilled at developing, communicating and implementing solutions to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement in a collaborative effort with State, local agencies, contractors and other utilities.  Worked diligently with local utilities to establish the Five Rivers Regional Water Council for the purpose of regional water planning, resource protection and to address mutual infrastructure needs and response. Demonstrated dedication to industry as Apprentice Coordinator for Nationally recognized Water Operations Specialist Program.
