Class Description:

This interactive class dives into the fundamentals of submersible pumps and builds practical skills to support everyday operations and troubleshooting. Pump School is a three-part training that includes:

1. Submersible Pump Components – Understand the parts, how they work together, and what makes them reliable.

2. Pump Curves – Learn how to read pump curves and why you would want to.

3. Diagnosing Pump Failures – Identify root causes and prevent future issues.

Instructor:

Nick Terranova, Product Manager, HOMA Pump Technology

Nick started out sweeping floors and pulling parts at HOMA in High School, moved on to repairing and diagnosing equipment, and eventually moved inside to do product engineering work. After graduating with a degree in Nuclear Engineering, Nick realized that he had spent years learning about the pump industry from the ground up and was in a perfect place to hit the ground running at HOMA. 12 years later, Nick is still excited to bring the highest level of pump knowledge to the wastewater industry.
