Event Details

This five-day course is designed to prepare operators for the Grade 2 Water Distribution AND Water Treatment certification exams. It combines essential topics from both disciplines into an intensive, hands-on review of the core concepts, calculations, and operational knowledge required to succeed as a water utility professional. Participants will strengthen their understanding of water math, system hydraulics, treatment processes, and distribution system operations while developing problem-solving skills that are essential in the field.

The course covers unit conversions, flow and pressure relationships, area and volume calculations, chemical dosing, pump and motor fundamentals, and regulatory compliance. It also includes focused reviews of disinfection, coagulation, filtration, corrosion control, cross-connection protection, safety protocols, water quality monitoring, and system design. Each lesson includes real-world examples, exam-style problems, and instructor-led discussions to support knowledge retention and application.
