Class Description:

This session will begin with a detailed presentation on membrane filtration operations and technology at the Public Safety building and then conclude with a tour of the Oxford Wastewater Treatment Facility. The class will be hosted by Zhenya Shevchenko, who is a professional engineer and supervises the membrane filtration treatment facility in Oxford. 


Class Fee: $120 Members | $160 Non-Members

State Agency Approval:
Maine DEP: 4.0 TCHs for Wastewater Operators

Zhenya Shevchenko – Oxford Wastewater Treatment Facility 

Zhenya Shevchenko is a Professional Engineer who in July 1996 earned his bachelor’s degree in chemical technology and engineering from Lviv Technical University. Zenya has been in the wastewater industry since 2003 and currently holds a grade three wastewater license and is superintendent of Oxford wastewater treatment facility.

701 Main St, Oxford, ME 04270 

Please arrive 15 minutes early (at 7:45am) so we can take attendance.

Individuals registered for one of MRWA’s training classes will be charged the class fee if we have not received notice of cancellation at least five business days prior to the class. Anyone contacting MRWA to cancel enrollment in a class will receive a cancellation number.
