Class Description:

This three-hour session will help you prepare for the math questions on any of the operator certification exams. The presenter will provide tips for your prep time and exam day and will introduce various types of math problems. Topics to be covered include calculating averages, chemical dosage, volume, area, circumference, flow rates, etc.


Class Fee: $90 Members | $120 Non-Members

Speaker:

Patrick Wiley – Southern Maine Community College

Patrick is the faculty instructor for the Water Treatment Technology Program at Southern Maine Community College. He has a PhD in Environmental Systems from the University of California and holds a Grade V Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator License in both Maine and California. He has contributed to many books and publications over the course of his career and developed the Wastewater Treatment program at Southern Maine Community College.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Individuals registered for one of MRWA’s training classes or seminars will be charged the class fee if we have not received notice of cancellation at least five (5) business days prior to the class. Anyone contacting MRWA to cancel enrollment in a class will receive a cancellation number.
