Construction and maintenance on/in State roads bring unique and complicated challenges for utilities. For many years, we have heard rumblings about these challenges, but have most recently been approached by several utilities asking for help navigating relationships with DOT.
Maine Rural Water wants to help our industry to improve communication with DOT, but in order to do so, we need to hear from you first. We ask that you please join us to share your experiences / frustrations / positive interactions with MDOT and to better help us understand the landscape.
This is an informational gathering session and there has been no invitation extended to DOT. Our intention is to take the information garnered from you and outline a strategic approach to improved communications with DOT.
