Professional Bio
Kate joined MRWA in July 2020 as the Source Water Program Manager. She has both a M.S. and a Ph.D. from the University of Maine in Ecology and Environmental Science. Kate’s research focused on working with drinking water utilities and local stakeholders to understand how drinking water quality is changing in response to certain weather conditions, evaluating both the ecological and economic implications of these changes. In her free time, Kate enjoys trail running, hiking, skiing, fishing, and adventuring with her dog Lowell.
