Jim Leighton

Jim Leighton is the superintendent of Limestone Water and Sewer District and has worked there for over 30 years. He manages the day-to-day operations of the well system at the water treatment plant and the Greater Limestone Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility that treats the wastewater from Limestone and Loring's old Air Force base. Jim says "It is a great pleasure being on MRWA's Board, working with a great group of people from around the state. In my last term we accomplished so much , with a large part being the restructuring of the association's membership along with much more." He enjoys traveling around the state, not an easy task from Limestone, to help share information with other utilities and bring back new tricks of the trade to the county. "I am looking forward to another term and helping MRWA and its members to move forward into the future."
