Presentation Outline
This 90-minute session will include:
  • A brief summary of what PFAS are and why we are interested in them
  • PFAS and Drinking Water
  • PFAS and Wastewater
  • PFAS and Biosolids and Residuals
  • PFAS and Solid Waste Management

Location: This will be a live 1.5-hour virtual class.
Fee: $45 – members $60 – non-members
(The participant fee reflects the expenses incurred in the development, preparation and presentation of this seminar, as well as ancillary expenses such as administrative time.)

Instructor: Jeff McBurnie, Casella Organics
Jeff oversees permitting, compliance, safety, and legislative & regulatory advocacy for Casella Organics, a biosolids and residuals management company with operations in New England, NY, and PA. He is also the Consulting Laboratory Director for the City of Brewer (ME) Water Department. He has provided water and wastewater operator training in Maine and beyond for more than 25 years. He has a BS from UMaine and an MS from Texas A&M in Ag Engineering, is a Class 4 Licensed Water Systems Operator, and a licensed Maine Professional Engineer.
