FINANCIAL and OPERATIONAL MEASURES for Maine’s water systems

Session Description:
Have you heard that “Benchmarks” are coming to Maine water systems? What are benchmarks? Are they also called Financial and Operational Measures? What are some of the Measures that will be available? How will I be able to access the information? When will it all be available? If you interested in learning more about upcoming “Measures”, sign up for this one-hour session.

Location: This will be a live 1-hour virtual class.

Zoom session start time: 1:30 pm (one-hour session)

Maximum number of participants is limited to 15 for each session.

Fee: Free (This class is funded through the State of Maine Financial Circuit Rider Grant.)

Note: Zoom connection information will be sent to each registrant prior to each session. Connection options:

Instructor: Norm Lamie, Maine Rural Water Association
Norm Lamie has been interested and involved with water system financial and operational measures since his years with the Auburn Water District as well as his time with the State of Maine Drinking Water Program. He has been working with a group of water system managers and operators for the past 18 months with efforts to develop water system measures. Norm received his BS in Civil Engineering and Master of Public Administration from the University of Maine at Orono and has been in the water utility profession for 45 years in a variety of capacities.
