Class Description:
Many rural and small water and wastewater systems struggle with issues such as aging or inadequate infrastructure; difficulties recruiting or retaining qualified staff; establishing or growing financial reserves and setting rates reflective of their operational costs. This interactive workshop explores simple and objective ways to evaluate your system’s strengths and to identify areas for improvement.

The workshop will help you develop an easy-to-follow plan for improving your operation, based on a step-by-step assessment. In addition, we will review how to improve internal communications and communication with board members, town officials and customers and how to build support.
