This course will introduce students to the basic computing necessary to utilize Microsoft Excel. An overview of the basic functions and uses of Excel will be provided along with hands-on examples and test cases.

Class Description:

This course will introduce students to the basic computing necessary to utilize Microsoft Excel. An overview of the basic functions and uses of Excel will be provided along with hands-on examples and test cases. A review of how to complete and submit required reports using Excel will be covered as well as tips and tricks to prevent and mitigate problems with said reports. This course will conclude with relevant test cases and a question/answer session.

Instructor: Tom Bahun, III, Maine Rural Water Association

Tom Bahun, the younger of two Toms at MRWA, is the Association's Membership Advocate and Digital Content Manager. With degrees in Political Science and History, Tom spends the winter months lobbying on behalf of the Association's members in Augusta. In addition, he has an extensive background in Computer Science and Cyber Security that allows him to effectively manage IT and cyber security needs, while offering technical and technology training.

MRWA is a fully approved ME Department of Environmental Protection and Maine BLWSO training provider.
