Sourcewater Protection

Under the Sourcewater Protection Program, MRWA assists communities with surface water or surface and groundwater sources in protecting their supplies. Susan Breau-Kelley, the Sourcewater Program Manager, works with the water supply superintendent to build a team of local stakeholders who develop a community-based sourcewater protection plan. The plan includes tasks such as education and outreach, training, ordinance development, grant writing, and other related tasks.
