Groundwater Protection

Under the Groundwater Program, MRWA assists Public Water Suppliers with groundwater sources in protecting their supplies. Alex Wong, the Groundwater Program Manager, works with superintendents, operators, managers and local officials to create a Wellhead Protection Plan. This plan includes tasks such as structural upgrades, outreach and education, training, ordinance development, grant writing and other related tasks.
