Legislative Info

MRWA has a 13 member Legislative Advisory Committee which represents all facets of the water and wastewater industry. The Committee is comprised of water districts, water departments, wastewater departments, joint utilities, and wastewater treatment facilities. The Committee is equally as regionally diverse. Our Committee members include:

The Committee meets to review upcoming legislation, rules and regulations. The Committee discusses the proposed legislation and policies and suggests the position that MRWA should take on various legislative items. The MRWA Board of Directors has the final decision on MRWA policy initiatives.
