The Maine Water Co. is accepting applications for a Field Services Representative for their Millinocket Division. A Field Services Representative performs functions necessary to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the public water system. Duties include the operation and maintenance of the surface water treatment facility and the installation, maintenance, repair, relocation, retirement, testing and operation of the water distribution system and related structures and grounds. Working with and/or under the supervision of the Superintendent, a Field Services Representative must be capable of assuming responsibility to complete assigned tasks efficiently and effectively and must be able to work independently. Maine Water Co., Camden & Rockland
The Maine Water Co. is accepting applications for a Field Representative, Level 1, 2, of 3, depending on experience in Camden and Rockland. A Field Services Representative performs functions necessary to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the public water system. Duties include the installation, maintenance, repair, relocation, retirement, testing and operation of the water distribution system and related structures and grounds. Duties may also include maintenance of water treatment facilities. Working with and/or under the supervision of the Superintendent and Foreman, a Field Services Representative must be capable of assuming responsibility to complete assigned tasks efficiently and effectively and must be able to work independently. Yarmouth Water District
The Yarmouth Water District is accepting applications for a Licensed Water Operator. The successful candidate must have a Class II (or higher) State of Maine Water Operators License or the ability to obtain the same within one year of hire. Previous pipe installation and repair experience is highly desirable. Applicants must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution. District policy requires a valid, insurable Maine driver’s license with a clean record and any candidate considered for the position must undergo a criminal background check. The District offers a generous benefit package and a competitive wage. This position calls for a hands-on, self starter type of individual.
