This class is an introduction to the Lead and Copper Rule and corrosion control. Students will learn about the important parts of the Lead and Copper Rule in a chronological order beginning with when a system is notified of its sampling requirements all the way through what a system needs to do after it receives its results. Common and effective corrosion control technologies will also be discussed. Finally, there will be a session involving case studies from actual Maine water systems that have successfully addressed their corrosion issues.
