Alex comes to the Maine Rural Water Association with experience working in and with State government. As an employee of the Maine Department of Environmental Protection, Alex was a project manager for Site Location of Development, Stormwater, and Natural Resources Protection Act permitting. He also served as the Shoreland Zoning Coordinator in Southern Maine. Alex has also worked as a consultant to the Maine Department of Transportation, managing their Surface Water Quality Protection Program.

Alex holds a B.S. in Environmental Science and an M.S. in Zoology from the University of New Hampshire.
