Jerry Stone
Water Quality Specialist

Jerry Stone joined MRWA in April 2004 as a Water Quality Specialist (WQS). Jerry has over 25 years experience in the water industry, gaining his experience working for a very large water system "The Bridgeport Hydraulic Company" in Bridgeport Connecticut. At BHC, Jerry was responsible for operating both surface water and groundwater facilities. Jerry eventually returned to his roots and the small town water district of Mexico, Maine.

Jerry is a graduate of SMVTI (Southern Maine Vocational Technical Institute) and NERWI (New England Regional Wastewater Institute) and holds a Class IV water treatment and a Class III distribution licenses respectively.

Being a WQS, Jerry works with the very small water systems of Maine providing technical assistance with the goal of insuring that public water systems provide safe drinking water.
